<br />ORDINANCE 110.2010-29, <br /> <br />ADOPTION OF AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $500 OF DISCHARGE ASSISTANCE <br />FUNDS ALLOCATED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTH AND <br />DEVELOPMENTAL SERVICES TO THE PORTSMOUTH DEPARTMENT OF <br />BEHAVIORAL HEAL THCARE SERVICES AND APPROPRIATING SAID FUNDS IN THE <br />FY 2009-2010 BEHAVIORAL HEALTHCARE SERVICES FUNDS TO PROVIDE <br />SERVICES FOR PERSONS FOUND NOT GUILTY BY REASON OF INSANITY WHO <br />RESIDE IN THE CITY. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That the City of Portsmouth accepts funds in the amount of $500 in Discharge <br />Assistance funds allocated by the Virginia Department of Behavioral Healthcare and Developmental <br />Services to the Portsmouth Department of Behavioral Healthcare Services to help fund services to be <br />provided to City residents found Not Guilty By Reason of Insanity. <br /> <br />2. That estimated revenue in the FY 2009-2010 Behavioral Healthcare Services Fund is <br />increased by $500, and said amount is appropriated in the FY 2009-2010 Behavioral Healthcare <br />Services Fund. <br /> <br />3. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting held on April 13 , <br />2010. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
