<br /> <br />R-09-02 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A LONG-TERM LEASE FOR THE RAILROAD <br />MUSEUM OF VIRGINIA. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />I. That the City Manager and City Attorney, acting for and on behalf of the City, are <br />hereby authorized to execute and deliver a lease with the Railroad Museum of Virginia, Inc. that <br />is substantially the same as the one attached hereto. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is further authorized and directed to take all such other actions as <br />may be reasonably necessary to implement the intent of said lease. <br /> <br />This resolution shall be effective immediately upon its adoption. <br /> <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting held on January <br />13, 2009. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
