<br />e. Emergency Medical Response, LLC shall timely pay all federal, state, and <br />local taxes, shall obey all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, <br />and shall keep all its transport vehicles and medical equipment in a safe, neat, <br />clean, well-maintained, and sanitary condition. <br /> <br />2. The Fire Chief is hereby authorized by City Council to enforce the terms <br />of this resolution. If the Fire Chief determines that there has been a material violation of <br />any provision hereof, or any other conduct that places public safety or the public interest <br />at risk, he shall report it to the Virginia Office of Emergency Medical Services and shall <br />thereafter cooperate with said Office in any investigation. <br /> <br />3. This resolution shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting held <br />on May 26, 2009. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
