<br />R-09-44 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A REVISED SALE AND DEVELOPMENT <br />AGREEMENT FOR A NEW PORTSMOUTH COURTHOUSE. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That the City Manager, acting for and on behalf of the City, is hereby authorized <br />and directed to sign a Revised Sale and Development Agreement for a new Portsmouth <br />Courthouse that is substantially the same as the instrument which is attached hereto, and that is <br />approved as to form and legality by the City Attorney. <br /> <br />2. That the City Manager and the City Attorney are further authorized and directed to <br />implement said agreement and to take all additional actions reasonably necessary to achieve its <br />purposes. <br /> <br />3. That the City Manager and the City Attorney shall report timely and periodically <br />to City Council on the status of implementing said agreement. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting held on <br />August 25,2009. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
