<br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE (a) IN THE FY 2009-2010 COMMUNITY <br />PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM FUND, $6,001 ALLOCATED TO <br />THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM BY THE <br />U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT; (b) IN THE <br />FY 2009-2010 COMMUNITY PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM <br />FUND, $130,300.43 IN HOME PROGRAM FY 2007-2008 INCOME; AND (c) IN <br />THE FY 2009-2010 ECONOMIC STIMULUS FUND, $473,578 IN COMMUNITY <br />DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT RECOVERY ACT FUNDS, $724,490 IN <br />HOMELESS PREVENTION AND RAPID RE-HOUSING FUNDS, AND <br />$2,000,000 IN NEIGHBORHOOD STABILIZATION FUNDS ALLOCATED BY <br />THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That the sum of $6,00 1 in additional Community Development Block <br />Grant (CDBG) Program funds allocated to the City by the U.S. Department of Housing <br />and Urban Development (HUD) is appropriated in the FY 2009-2010 Community <br />Planning and Development Program Fund, and that estimated revenues in said Fund are <br />increased by $6,001. <br /> <br />2. That the sum of$130,300.43, generated in income from FY 2007-2008 <br />HOME Program funds, is appropriated in the FY 2009-2010 Community Planning and <br />Development Program Fund, and that estimated revenues in said Fund are increased by <br />$130,300.43. <br /> <br />3. That the sum of $473,578, allocated to the City in Community <br />Development Block Grant Recovery (CDBG-R) Act funds by HUD is appropriated in the <br />FY 2009-2010 Economic Stimulus Fund, and that estimated revenues in said Fund are <br />increased by $473,578. <br /> <br />4. That the sum of $724,490, allocated to the City in Homeless Prevention <br />and Rapid Re-housing funds by HUD is appropriated in the FY 2009-2010 Economic <br />Stimulus Fund, and that estimated revenues in said Fund are increased by $724,490. <br /> <br />5. That the sum of $2,000,000, allocated to the City in Neighborhood <br />Stabilization funds by HUD is appropriated in the FY 2009-2010 Economic Stimulus <br />Fund, and that estimated revenues in said Fund are increased by $2,000,000. <br /> <br />6.
