<br />OnNII, ,1-'1' "10 2 0 0 9 "1'~ 8 <br />~. b.1lll1JI..~ <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $18,750 FROM <br />THE VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AND <br />APPROPRIA TING SAID AMOUNT IN THE FY 2009-2010 GRANTS FUND FOR <br />THE HAZARDOUS MATERIALS SOUTHSIDE TIDEWATER TEAM. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That the City of Portsmouth accepts a grant in the amount of $18,750 in <br />funds from the Virginia Department of Emergency Management for the Hazardous <br />Materials Southside Tidewater Team for which the City is the lead agency. <br /> <br />2, That estimated revenues in the FY 2009-2010 Grants Fund are increased <br />by $18,750, and said amount is appropriated in the FY 2009-2010 Grants Fund. <br /> <br />3. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption, <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting held <br />on June 23, 2009. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
