<br />The rate of pay set forth in Section 10, entitled Salary Schedule, shall be deemed <br />the full compensation of the employee, except that the value of any allowances <br />made to the employee by the City shall also be considered a part of the employee's <br />compensation. <br /> <br />a. On-call <br /> <br />Non-exempt employees who are required to be available for 24-hour <br />emergency service and/or repair, and who have been recommended <br />by the Department Head, reviewed by the FLSA Compliance Officer, <br />and approved by the City Manager, shall receive an allowance of <br />$1,080 annually. Only non-exempt employees are eligible for this <br />allowance. This allowance is not applicable to Public Safety <br />Personnel. <br /> <br />b. Clothin!! <br /> <br />Any sworn officer of the Fire or Police Departments who is required <br />to wear civilian clothes in the regular performance of official duties <br />shall be paid a clothing allowance of $600 annually. <br /> <br />c. Field Trainin!! Officers <br /> <br />Police Officers serving as Field Training Officers, as designated by <br />the Chief of Police, shall receive an allowance of $1,000 annually as <br />approved in advance by the City Manager. <br /> <br />d. Cardiac Technician/Intermediate and Paramedic Certifications <br /> <br />Sworn personnel in the Department of Fire, Rescue and Emergency <br />Services, except the Fire Chief and the Deputy Fire Chiefs, who have <br />successfully obtained and maintain the Cardiac Technician! <br />Intermediate and Paramedic Certifications, are TEMS sanctioned to <br />perform at these certification levels, and ride the ambulance as <br />required and assigned will receive annually: <br /> <br />10 <br />
