OB-06 <. <br />~;', n~ <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $347,885 IN THE FY 2007-2008 GENERAL <br />FUND OPERA TING BUDGET TO ESTABLISH A COMMUNITY <br />ENFORCEMENT UNIT (CEU) PILOT PROGRAM. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That it hereby appropriates $347,885 in the FY 2007-2008 General Fund <br />Operating Budget for the establishment of a Community Enforcement Unit (CEU) Pilot <br />Program to be operated by the Sheriffs Department. <br /> <br />2. That the funding source for said appropriation shall be fees charged by the <br />Sheriff s Department for the housing of federal inmates. <br /> <br />3. That estimated revenues in the FY 2007-2008 General Fund Operating <br />Budget are increased by $347,885, and said amount is appropriated in the FY 2007-2008 <br />General Fund Operating Budget. <br /> <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting held <br />on January 22,2008. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
