<br /> <br />e <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />e. <br /> <br />Hazardous Materials Team <br /> <br />Sworn personnel in the Department of Fire, Rescue and Emergency <br />Services who have successfully completed the core classes ofHaz-Mat <br />Awareness, Haz-Mat Operations and Haz-Mat Technician as defined <br />by the Virginia Department of Fire Programs and the Virginia <br />Department of Emergency Services and are currently assigned to the <br />Hazardous Materials Team shall receive an allowance of $900 <br />annually. <br /> <br />f. Fire Staff <br /> <br />Sworn personnel ill classifications of Fire Fighter, Fire <br />Fighter/Paramedic, Fire Lieutenant, Fire LieutenantlParamedic, and <br />Fire Captain, who serve in a staff capacity, as designated by the Fire <br />Chief, shall receive an allowance of$1,200 annually. <br /> <br />g. <br /> <br />Suecial Weauons and Tactics (SWAT) Team <br /> <br />Sworn personnel of the Police Department on the 23-member SWAT <br />Team as an Operator, Sergeant or Lieutenant shall receive an <br />allowance of $900 annually. <br /> <br />h. <br /> <br />Master Police Officers or Master Fire Fil!:hters <br /> <br />Sworn personnel in the classifications of Police Officer and Fire <br />Fighter may receive a special allowance as Master Police Officers or <br />Master Fire Fighters. This shall consist of a $1,500 flat rate allowance <br />for the duration of the period that the sworn person retains the <br />"Master" designation. <br /> <br />NOTE: This allowance will be considered creditable compensation for <br />purposes of computing retirement. <br /> <br />11 <br />
