<br />R-07-3o <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A DEED <br />AND OTHER NECESSARY INSTRUMENTS TO CONVEY TO ECONOMIC <br />DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA A <br />PORTION OF THE PARCEL OF LAND (THE FORMER EFFINGHAM STREET FIRE <br />STATION) LOCATED AT 361 EFFINGHAM STREET AND DESIGNATED AS TAX <br />PARCEL 0020-0180. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that the City <br />Manager be, and he hereby is, authorized to execute a deed and other necessary instruments to <br />convey to the Economic Development Authority of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia a portion of <br />the parcel ofland as shown on the exhibit attached entitled "EXHIBIT SHOWING <br />DEVELOPMENT PARCEL PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA", dated May 30, 2007 and located at <br />361 Effingham Street (the former fire station site) and designated as Tax Parcel 0020-0180, and <br />to do any and all acts necessary to effect said conveyance. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held on June <br />12,2007. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
