R-06-13 . A RESOLUTION GRANTING APPROVAL OF A GROUP HOUSING USE PERMIT (GHP-06-01) TO CAVALIER COMMUNITY PARTNERS, LLC., TO CONVERT 240 AP ARTMENT UNITS INTO 240 RESIDENTIAL CONDOMINIUM UNITS AT 4600 GREENWOOD DRIVE AND 1900 DARREN CIRCLE. WHEREAS, Cavalier Community Partners, LLC., has made application, pursuant to Section 40-112 of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia (1988), as amended, for the approval and granting of a group housing use permit to convert 240 apartment units into 240 residential condominium units at 4600 Greenwood Drive and 1900 Darren Circle, Portsmouth, Virginia; and WHEREAS, the subject property is furthermore described as: GHP-06-01 Charlestowne I . All that certain lot, piece or parcel of land, with the buildings and improvements thereon, situate, lying and being in the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, and known, numbered and designated as Sect. I Charlestowne Townhouses (3.4360 acres), as shown on that certain plat entitled "Charlestowne Townhouses, Section 1 Portion of Washington Heights Properties Corp., Portsmouth, Virginia", made be Freeman and Johnson, Engineers and Surveyors, dated February 18, 1971, which said plat is duly recorded in the Clerk's Office of the Circuit Court of Portsmouth, Virginia, in Map Book 7, Page 53, and more particularly bounded and described, with reference to said plat, as follows: Beginning at a pin in the north side of Greenwood Drive at the eastern line of the property of the City of Portsmouth School Board, and proceeding thence North 620 04' 18" West 100.003 feet to a pin; thence North 200 39' 59" West 264.06 feet to a pin; thence North 300 19' 14" West 128.47 feet to a pin; thence North 570 02' 20" East 293.35 feet to a pin; thence South 10038' 39" East 75.79 feet to pin: thence South 32057' 40" East 258.69 feet to a in; thence South 360 26' 06" West 34.03 feet to a pin; thence South 320 57 40" East 262.19 feet to a pin in the north side of Greenwood Drive; thence along a curve to the left having a radius of 3050 feet, an arc distance of 20 feet to a point; thence North 20 57' 25" West 12 feet to a point; thence along a curve to the left having a radius of 211 feet, an arc distance of 12.03 feet to a point in the north side of Greenwood Drive; thence a long a curve to the left having a radius of 1611.37 feet, and arc distance of 44.41 feet to the point of beginning. .
