<br />R-06-51 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A MEMORANDUM OF INTENT WITH THE <br />PORTSMOUTH MUSEUMS FOUNDATION. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that: <br /> <br />I. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver <br />to the Portsmouth Museums Foundation a Memorandum of Intent with respect to the <br />raising of funds over a four-year period for the expansion of the Children's Museum. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is further authorized and directed to take all such <br />actions as are reasonably necessary to perform and to effect the intent of said <br />Memorandum of Intent. <br /> <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting held on <br />September 26, 2006. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
