<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />(d) The City Manager and the City Attorney shall transfer and convey unto the <br />Virginia Port Authority Parcell b on Exhibit A, as per the terms of an Agreement of Lease <br />between the Virginia Port Authority and the Portsmouth Port and Industrial Commission dated <br />November 4, 1975. Said conveyance shall be by general warranty deed. <br /> <br />3. That the Portsmouth Port and Industrial Commission, the City Attorney, and the <br />City Manager (as applicable) are further authorized and directed to prepare, execute, and deliver <br />such property descriptions, deeds, leases, agreements, closing statements, closing documents, <br />and to grant and/or to require (as applicable) such other instruments and assurances as may be <br />needed to effect said transactions and to protect the interests of the City, following generally <br />accepted real estate practices. <br /> <br />4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting held on <br />June 14,2005. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
