<br />uRO,. .005l-85 _ <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />ZONING AMENDMENT ORDINANCE Z-05-12 <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That the portion of the zoning map attached to and made a part of the City <br />of Portsmouth Zoning Ordinance which now zones as Downtown D-2-C (Commercial) <br />and Downtown D-2-I (Industrial), the property described in Petition for Zoning <br />Amendment Number Z-05-12, is hereby amended and changed so as to show said <br />property zoned as Downtown D-2-R (Residential), and that said property is hereby zoned <br />as Downtown D-2-R (Residential). <br /> <br />2. That the property affected by this ordinance by being zoned from <br />Downtown D-2-C (Commercial) and Downtown D-2-I (Industrial) to Downtown D-2-R <br />(Residential) is furthermore described as follows: <br /> <br />Z-05-12 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Parcel A <br />Beginning at a point in the southern line of King Street, <br />said point being 60 feet, more or less, east of the eastern <br />line of Twine Avenue, and proceeding eastwardly to the <br />western line of Godwin Street, thence proceeding in a <br />southernly direction along the western line of Godwin <br />Street to the northern line of County Street, thence <br />proceeding in a westerly direction along the northern line <br />of County Street to a point in the eastern line of Twine <br />A venue, thence along said line to a point approximately 57 <br />feet, more or less, north of the northeastern corner of <br />County Street and Twine Avenue, thence in a <br />northeasternly direction along the rear line of a parcel 68.78 <br />feet, more or less to a point where the western line of lot <br />169 intersects said line, thence northwardly 141.80 feet, <br />more or less to the point of beginning. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Parcel B <br />Beginning at a point, said point being the northeast <br />intersection of Godwin Street and County Street, thence <br />proceeding in a northwardly direction 226 feet, more or <br />less, to a point, thence proceeding along the northern line of <br />the parcel known as map 79 parcel 72 and its eastwardly <br />prolongation to the western line of Armstrong Street, <br /> <br />
