<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />R-05-32 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PLANS FOR THE APM TERMINAL <br />INTERCHANGE ON ROUTE 164 AS PRESENTED BY THE VIRGINIA <br />DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AT THE PUBLIC HEARING HELD <br />JUNE 8, 2005. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a Location and Design Public Hearing was conducted on June 8, <br />2005, in the City of Portsmouth by representatives of the Commonwealth of Virginia <br />Department of Transportation after due and proper notice for the purpose of considering <br />the proposed location and design of the Design and Construction of Roadway <br />Improvements to Support APM Terminal, Project # 0164-124-105, PE101, in the City of <br />Portsmouth, at which hearing aerial photographs, drawings and other pertinent <br />information were made available for public inspection in accordance with state and <br />federal requirements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, all persons and parties in attendance were afforded full opportunity <br />to participate in said public hearing; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, representatives of the City of Portsmouth were present and <br />participated in said hearing; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Portsmouth had previously requested the <br />Virginia Department of Transportation to program this project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council has considered all such matters. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of <br />Portsmouth that it hereby approves the location and design of the proposed project as <br />presented at the Public Hearing. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOL VED that the City of Portsmouth requests the <br />Virginia Department of Transportation to acquire all rights of way necessary for the <br />project in the name of the Commonwealth of Virginia at the appropriate time. <br /> <br />ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia at a meeting held <br />on June 28, 2005. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />
