<br />R-05~66 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE A FERRY DOCKING CONTRACT WITH <br />HAMPTON ROADS TRANSIT. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that the City <br />Manager be, and hereby is, authorized to execute a contract substantially the same as the <br />attached ferry docking contract with Hampton Roads Transit. The purpose of the contract is to <br />provide continued ferry service to High Street Landing and the North Landing, The City <br />Manager shall thereafter take such actions as may be reasonably necessary to implement the <br />City's rights and responsibilities under the contract. <br /> <br />This resolution shall be effective immediately upon its adoption, <br /> <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting held on <br />November 22,2005, <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />
