R-04-30 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO CONVEY A <br />TRIANGULAR PARCEL OF LAND LOCATED ON THE EAST SIDE OF <br />PHILLIPS AVENUE AND LYING NORTH OF GIBNEY STREET, SHOWN ON <br />TAX PLATE 185 TO THE INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY. <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that <br />the City Manager be, and he hereby is, authorized to execute such deeds or other <br />documents as may be necessary to convey to the Industrial Development Authority, <br />a triangular parcel of land located on the east side of Phillips Avenue and lying <br />north of Gibney Street, shown on Tax Plate 185, said property having been part of <br />that conveyed to the City of Portsmouth, Virginia by deed of the City of Portsmouth <br />School Board, dated November 13, 1975 and recorded in Deed Book 687, page 378, <br />which property will be shown and designated on a plat to be attached to the deed of <br />conveyance. <br /> <br /> ADOPTED at a meeting of the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia <br />held on May 25, 2004. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
