AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $188,232 IN THE GRANTS FUND FOR <br />THE 2004 LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT BLOCK GRANT (LLEBG) g8 <br />PROGRAM TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL FUNDING FOR PUBLIC SAFETY IN <br />SUPPORT OF NEIGHBORItOOD QUALITY. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. That the sum of $188,232 be appropriated in the Grants Fund to support <br />the Police Department's 2003 Local Law Enforcement Block Grant (LLEBG) #8 Program <br />for public safety in support of neighborhood quality; and <br /> <br /> 2. That the source of these fimds is the United States Departm~mt of Justice <br />and a local cash match of $18,823. <br /> <br /> 3.
