R-02-31 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AND <br />DELIVER A PERMIT TO COX COMMUNICATIONS FOR PLACEMENT OF <br />UNDERGROUND CABLE AND POWER SUPPLY ON PROPERTY OF THE CITY <br />KNOWN AS THE RED BARN ROAD SEWAGE PUMPING STATION SITE. <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that the Interim <br />City Manager be. and he hereby is, authorized to execute and deliver to Cox Communications a <br />permit allowing Cox Communications to place underground cable and power supply for <br />installation of digital cable service in the City of Portsmouth on property of the City known as <br />the Red Barn Road Sewage Site, said permit to provide that Cox Communications will <br />indemnify and hold the City harmless from damage to person or property resulting from the use <br />permitted, and for termination of the permit by the City upon provision of a 180 day notice to <br />Cox Communications, the location of said facilities to be as shown on that certain drawing <br />entitled: "COX PORTSMOUTH POWER SUPPLY UNITS, PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA, <br />3724 PINE BARK ROAD (BESIDE)", dated October 12, 2001, revised March 18, 2002, <br />prepared by Clark-Smith Associates, Consulting Engineers. <br /> <br /> ADOPTED at a meeting of the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia held on May <br />28, 2002. <br /> <br /> Teste: <br /> <br /> <br /> City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
