AN OPJ)INANCE TO A~ AND RE-ORDAL~ SECTION 1-~.1 OF THE CODE OF '£H~ CiTY OF PORTSMOUTH, VIHGXNIA, 1951, Rk~TING TO VOTING !~ACES, SO AS TO PROVIDE TEE NEW VOTING PLACE FOR THE SECOND PRECINCT HARR ISC~ WARD~ Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that Section 1-21 of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, 1951, be amended and re-ordained to read aa follows: Section 1-21. Voting Places. The voting places in the respective wards of the City shall be as follows: Jefferson Ward: First Precinct -At ~nicipal Build~aj~ Annex, Court Street betwee~ High and Queen Streets. Second Precinct -At Fire Station, southeast corner Effingham and North Streets. Jackson Ward: -At School Building at the northeast corner of Washington and King Streets. Ward: -At Fire Station, northwest corner of Lincoln and Virginia Streets. ~ar~hall Ward: First Precinct -School b~ilding at corner Elm Avenue and North Street. Second Precinct -At Beazley Community Center, 2lB Owens Street. Monroe Ward: -At Fire Station, Fifth Avenue and London Street. Lee Ward: -At 1625 Elm Avenue. ~ashington Ward: First Precinct -At Fire Statio~ on west aide of Broad Street, be~ee~l Dstreit and Cleveland Streets. Second Precinct -At Fort Norfolk School, located on Marylamd Avenue. Harrison Ward: First Precinct -At ~ily Spong School, corner of Piedmont Avenue and Jefferson Street. Tyler War~: Second Precinct First Precinct -At Recreation Center on Dale Field, corner of Columbus Avenue and Randolph Street. -At Jahn Tyler School, lecated on Hartford Street.
