POrTSMOUth, ¥tP~!?~!A. 1951~ <br /> TO SETBACK LINES ON CERTAIN STREETS, <br /> P~I\~OC~ STREET FRO~,i ~E PROV!SI~'S <br /> <br /> Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Portsmouth that <br /> <br />gection 28-38 of the Cod~ of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, 1921, be <br />amended and rs-ordained to reaa as follows: <br /> <br />gection 26-28. Setback lines on streets ~o he one hundred feet wide. <br />It shall be unlawful for any person to enlarge, extend, or build any <br />porch, bay window extension, shed or other building or s~ructure on any of the <br />land abutting on the streets sez ou~ in this section nearer than fifty feet <br />from the censer of the linc of the streets. Such setback building line shall <br />apply equally to both sides of the streets.
