Sec. 18-57. Same - Forfeiture of right to drive; <br /> suspension of sentence. <br /> <br /> The judgment of conviction, or finding of not <br /> innocent in the case of a juvenile, if for a first <br /> offense under section 18-52, shall of itself operate <br /> to deprive the. person so convicted or found of the <br /> right' to drive or operate any such vehicle, conveyance, <br /> engine, or train in this state for a period of one <br /> Year from the date of such judgment, and if for a <br /> second or other subsequent offense within ten years <br /> thereof for a period of three years from the date of <br /> the judgment of conviction or finding of not innocent <br /> thereof, any such period in either case to run <br /> consecutively with any period of suspension for <br /> failure to permit a blood sample to be taken as <br /> required by section 18-55. If any pvrson has heretofore <br /> been convicted or found not innocent of violating <br />any similar act of this state or similar city, town~ <br /> or county ordinance, and thereafter is convicted or <br /> found not innocent of violating the provisions of <br /> section 18-52, such conviction or find for the purpose <br /> · of this section and section 18-56 be a subsequent <br /> offense and shall be punished accordingly; and the <br /> · court may, in its discretion, suspend the sentence <br /> during the good behavior of the person convicted. <br /> <br />Sec. 18-62..Special regulations applicable on streets <br /> and higi~ways laned for traffic~ <br /> <br /> Whenever any highway has been divided into clearly <br />marked lanes for traffic, drivers of vehicles shall <br />obey the following regulations: <br /> <br /> (a) Any vehicle proceeding at less than the normal <br /> speed of traffic at the time ahd place and under the <br /> conditions existing shall be driven in the lane nearest <br />· ~ ': ~ the right hand edge or curb of the highway when such lane <br /> is available for travel except when overtaking and <br /> passing another Vehicle or in preparation for a left <br /> turn or as )ermitted in paragraph {d) of this section; <br /> <br /> <br />
