AM ORDINANCE TO PROVIDE FOR THE LEASING <br />OF CERTAIN PROPERTY OF THE CITY OF <br />PORTSMOUTH TO [v~RYVIEW HOSPITAL FOR USE <br />AS AN OFF STREET PARKING EOT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, sealed proposals were requested by the City of Portsmouth~ <br />through legal advertisements appearing in the Ledger-Star on June 26 and July 3~ <br />10~ and 17, 1962, for lease of the land therein described for use as an off street <br />parking lot, pursuant to the terms and conditions therein stated; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Maryview Hospital submitted its b~d of $100.00 per year <br />~ich was the ooly bid received~ <br /> <br /> NO~ THEREFORE~ BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of <br />Portsmouth that the Fmyor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to <br />execute and deliver unto Maryview Hospital a tease pursuant to the request for <br />bids which were received by this Council July 24, 1962~ the form of said lease <br />~o be approved by the City Attorney. <br /> <br /> This ordinance being necessary for the public health, safety and <br />morals~ an emergency is declared to exis~ and this ordinance shall take effect <br />from and after its adoption. <br /> <br />held August <br /> <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth at a meeting <br />~ 1962. <br /> <br />City Clerk. <br /> <br /> <br />
