Virginia, that Section 101 of Article ii of the License Tax Ordinance of the City of Portsmouth, 1980, be amended and reordained to read as follows: Section i01. Coin Machines and Coin Nachine Operators. (a) Every person Paving c~ e~hibiting anywhere in the City of Portsmouth a coin machine or device of any description into which are inserted coins of any denomination that operates on the coin-in-the slot principle shall pay a license Tax for each such machine or device, in the following respective amounts per (1) For each such machine which plays music only, $5°00, (2) For each such machine re§istering the weight of a ~erson, $5°00. For each such machine used for the cleaning and polishing of bowling halls, $5°00. (4) For each such machine used solely for the safe keeping of p~ckaEes, bags~ etc., for each compartment or separate receptacle, $0.50. For each such machine which plays music and shows motion pictures on!y, $10~00. (8) For each such machine used for the washing and drying of clothes, where there is not a paid attendant on the premises s~ all Zimes, $10.00. For each such vending machine, dispensing merchandise only and having ~o amusemen~ device, in which coins of five cents or over ars deposited. $5o00~ and in ~nich one cent is deposited, $0.~0. ($) For each cozn-operated radio used in hotel or rooming house, $1.00. (9) For each such machine of any other type or device, in which coins are deposited which m~y be allowed by the taws of this State~ excep~ pay telephones, $25°00.
