The contract for water and sewer services <br /> : <br /> : forparticular premises when the owner is <br /> responsible for~ater used by tenant shall be <br />': substantially in the following form: _ <br /> <br /> I hereby apply to the Portsmouth Water <br />' ' Department for a supply of water for Premises No. <br /> Stree% between Street' <br /> anh ' -" Street <br /> <br /> Being the o~ner of the promisos, I agree to be <br /> responsible for payment of all water furnished said <br /> ~ premises at the rate now or hereafter established, <br /> and all sewage disposal charges assessed agains~he <br /> said premises in accordance with the Ordinances <br /> governing sewage disposal charges, and that the <br /> water shall be used on the premises only, and without <br /> waste; and to be bound in all things by the stipulations <br /> ~ and conditions of water supply now or hereafter <br /> embraced in the City Code, and the rules which may <br /> be from time to time adopted; and to permit the agents <br /> cf the water department at all roasonable times to <br /> visit and inspect the described premises. <br /> <br /> It is understood and agreed that the City of <br /> · Portsmouth shall not be liable in the event of the <br /> ~ stoppage of the supply of water and that if water is <br /> wasted on accoUnt of leaky pipes or fixtures or any <br /> other cause~ or if water bills and sewage disposal <br /> bills are not paid at the proper time or for a <br /> violation of any other rule of the water department, <br /> or sewage disposal department, ~he department shall <br /> have the right to cut off the water at any time; <br /> other~ise~this contract shallcontinue in force until <br /> cancelled <br /> <br /> <br />
