Sec. 18-164. Installation and operation of <br /> .parking meters. <br /> <br /> Parking meters install.ed pursuant to section <br />18-162 shall be placed or set in such manner as <br />to show or display by a signal that the space <br />adjacent to such meter is or is not legally in <br />use. The parking meters shall be installed and <br />set to display upon deposit of the requisite coins <br />of the. United States or the equivalent in tokens <br />issued pursuant to regulations promulgated by <br /> director of finance, a signal indicating legal <br />parking for the designated period, and the parking <br />space shal~ then be legally occupied by the motor <br />vehicle d9ring such period. (Ordinance No. 1962-31, <br />5-22-62.) <br /> <br />Sec. 18-165. Parking meter rates. <br /> <br /> The parking meters installed under the <br />foregoing provisions of this article shall be set <br />to display upon deposit of the following sums of <br />money, in coins of the United States or the <br />equivalent in tokens, a signal indicating legal <br />parking for the'following periods: <br /> <br />(a) <br /> <br /> In Edinburgh Square Lot: <br /> Sixty-six (66) spaces ~ five cents <br /> for a Two hour period, no space to <br />~ be occupied by the same motor vehicle <br /> for a g~eater continuous period than <br /> four hours. <br /> <br /> In Proctor Square Lot: <br />Thirty-eight (38} spaces - five cents <br />for a two hour 'period, no space to be <br />occupied by the sa~e motor vehicle <br />:for algrea~er continuous period than <br /> <br /> <br />
