ban ORDINANCE TO CLOSE THAT PORTION OF NOR/}{ STREET LYING BETWEEN THE <br />EAST LINE OF VIRGINIA AVENb~ AND THE EASTERN PROPERTY LINE EXTENDED <br />OF THE NORFOLK £g,~D PORTSMOUTH BELTLINE RAiLRO~ COb{P~Y~ <br /> <br /> WHEREBS, by resolution of this Council, adopted July 9, <br />1963, viewers were appointed pursuan~ to section 15-766 of the Code <br />of Virginia, i9S0, as amended, to view the hereinafter described <br />street, ~nd [o repor~ in writing whether in their opinion~ ~ny and <br />if any, what inconvenience would result from discontinuing the here- <br />inafter described street; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the said view~rs have reported in writing that <br />in their opinion no inconvenience would result from closing and <br />discontinuing said street. <br /> <br /> NOW~ THEREFORE, B~ IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City <br />of Portsmouth, Virginia, that that portion of North Street lying between <br />the east line of Virgini~ Avenue ~nd the eastern property line extended <br />of the Norfolk and Portsmouth Bel~tine Railroad Compactly be, and the same <br />is hereby closed and vacated as a public street. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, <br />a meeting held October 8, 1963. <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
