AN ORDINANCE TO AblEND SECTION 37~25 OF Tile CODE OF Tile <br />CIT'~ OF PORTSMOUTlt, VIRGINIA, 1961, TO ESTAB'IslSH ~IREE <br />glJgCrtON DISTRICTS IN STUART WARD. <br /> <br /> Be it ordained by the Council of the City ~f <br />Portsmouth, Virginia, that Section 37-25 of the Code of <br />the City of Portsmouth~ Virginia, 1961, be amended and <br />roordained to read as fo/lows: <br /> <br />'Sec. 37-25, Btuart Ward <br /> <br /> In Stuart Ward, there are hereby established <br />three election districts to be kno~n as: <br /> <br /> (a) Precinct Number One, Mlich shall include all <br />that portion of tile ward lying southeast, south and east <br />of a tine passing down 'the center'line of Deep Creek Boulevard <br />from its intersection with the northern boundary of the ward <br />to its intersection with Victory Boulevard~ thence west <br />along the center Iin~ of Victory Boulevard to its intersection <br />with Gust Lane, thence south along the center line of Gust <br />Lane extended to the corporate limits of the City. <br /> <br />' <br /> <br /> .(b) Precinct ~4umber Two. which shall include all <br />that portion of the ward lying east, north and west of a <br />line passing do~m the center line of Victory Boulevard from <br />its intersection with the Seaboard Air Line Railroad Company' <br />to its intersection, witi~ Deep Creek Bo61evard, thence along <br />the center line of I~p Creek Boulevard to the northern <br />boundary of the ward° <br /> <br /> (c) Precinct Number Three, which si~all include the <br />remaining portion of the ward. <br /> <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br /> meeting held August 27, 1965o <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br /> <br />
