AN ORDINANCE IMPOSING AND COLLECTING TAXES ON REAL ESTATE, <br /> TANGIBLE PERSONAL PROPER~f AND MACtfINERY WITHIN THE LIMITS <br /> OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTIf, VIRGINIA, POR THE PURPOSE OF <br /> RAISING REVENb~ POR THE SUPPORT OF THE GOVERNMENT AND TilE <br /> PUBLIC FREE SCHOOLS AND ¥0 PAY INTEREST AND SINKING FUND <br /> ON THE PUBLIC DEBT FOR THE YEAR BEGINNING JANUARY t~ 1963. <br /> <br /> · Be it ordained by the Council of the.
