61iOg C[ <br /> <br /> WHEHEAS~ Herbert E. Robertson, Ruth S. Robertson, Barnard <br />E. Beale and Helen B. Beale have made application to vacate, close, <br />~nd discontinue the hereinafter described' street; and <br /> <br /> WHEHEAS, by resolution of this Council, ad?_ted June 22, <br />1965, viewers were appointed pursuant to Section 15.1 B64 of the Code <br />of Virginia, 1950, as amended, to view the hereinafter described <br />street, and to report in writing whether in their opinion, any, and <br />if any, what inconvenience would result from discontinuing the herein- <br />after described street; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the said viewers have reported in writing that in <br />their opinion no inconvenience would result from closing and dis- <br />continuing said street; <br /> <br /> · NOW, THEHEFOHE, BE IT ORDAI~D by the Council of the City <br />of Portsmouth, Virgir,~a, that that portion of Westmoreland Avenue <br />lying between the north side of Westmoreland Terrace and the Western <br />Branch of the Elizabeth Hiver be, and the same is hereby closed and <br />vacated as a public street. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the CoUnCil of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, <br />at a meeting held July 27, 1965. <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
