Every person engaged in the business of o~erating a trailer camp, shall pay a.license tax of $50,00 which license will permit no more than one trailer at any one time to be parked or accommodated at any one camp; an additional license tax of $50.00 is hereby imposed for each additional' trailer,' where there is more than one trailer in any one camp at any one time. The license tax herein levied may be prorated and paid to'the City Treasurer quarterly, For the purpose of this section a trailer shall mean any vehicle used or constructed for use as a conveyance upon highways~ so designed and so constructed as to permit occupancy thereof as a d~elling or sleeping place for one or more persons. A trailer camp shall mean any site, lot, field or tract Of land upon which is located one (1) or more trailers, or which is held out for the location of any trailer. Every person engaged in the business of operating a trailer camp shall maintain an up-to-date record of all the trailers in the camp operated by such person showing thereon the year, make, model, length, identification number, and owner of each trailer in the camp. This record shall be open to ~nspection at all times to any police officer and to the Commissioner of the Revenue or his duly authorized representative. A copy of this record shall be furnished to the Commissioner of the Revenue when requested by him,< No license shall be issued hereunder unless and until ~here is presented to the Commissioner of the Revenue a permit from the Dxrector of Public Health for the operation of a trailer camp, Section~103~ Transient vendors: Every person who shall engage in, do or transact any ten~orary or transient business in the City for the sale of goods, wares and mer- chandise and who, for the purpose of carrying on such business shall hire, iease~ use or occupy any building or structure, motor vehicle, tent, car, boat or public room, or any part thereof, including rooms in hotels, lodging houses or houses of private entertainment, or in any street~ alley, or other public place, f~r a period of less than one year, for the exhibition of or sale of such goods, wares and merchandise, shall pay for such pri¥ilege, in addition to a merchant's license or other applicable tax, a specific license tax of $500.00 a month or fraction thereof, which license shall not be transferable and not subject to proration for any cause whatever, Every person who has not been licensed for at least one year to sell or ~o offer for sale goods, wares or merchandise and who shall here- after apply for a license to offer or sell goods, wares or merchandise within the City, shall file with such application an affidavit from the owner of the building, structure, etc., to be used by such applicant, shewing for what period of time the property to be used by such applicant has been hired or leased by such applicant, amd no license shall be issued unless and until such affidavit is attached to the application; provided~ that the Commissioner of the Revenue may~ i~ lieu of the~foregoin~ affi- davit, issue a regular merchant's or red,tar auctioneer's license to any,.
