Be it ordained by the Cotuncil of the City of Portsmouth, VLrgLrda, that Section 18-179 of the Code of the City of Port~uouth, Virg~, ~961, be reordained m~ amended to read as follows: Sec. 18-t79. Duty of driver tO stop, etc~, tn event of accident; duty of occupant; reports additior~l to other accident reports required by t~nis article. (a) The driver of any vehicle involved in an accident in which ar. attended vehicle ~r other attended property is ~ ~ ~ ..... ~ d~ea saa~ z~ued~ate~ stop as close to the scene of the accident -as possible ~ithout obstructi~ tra~ic ar~t report to a police officer or to the driver or~ some'other occupant of the vehicle collided with or to the custodian of other d~.~eged property, b_is address, operator's or chauffeur's licenge nt~oer and the registration nmrZoer of his vehicle.
