AN ORDINANCE TO CLOSE A PORTION OF SM~.D ROAD <br /> <br />WH~, Diversified Investments, Inc. b~s ~de application <br />to vacate, close and cLiscontinue the hereinafter described street; and <br /> ~qEP~EAS, by resolution of this Council~ adopted January 25~ <br />1966, viewerz were appointed pursuant to Section 15.1-364 of the Code <br />of Vir~a, '1950, as amended, ts view the hereir~er described street, <br />and to report in writing whether in their opinion~ any, and if any, what <br />inconvenience would result from discontinuing the hereinafter described <br />street ~ and <br /> <br /> WHEEEAS, the said view,rs have reported in writing that in <br />their opLuion no inconvenience would result fz~m closing and discon- <br />tinuing said street. <br /> <br /> NOW, ~Z~_~RE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City.of <br />Portsmouth, Virgiut~, that that portion of Smit~ield Road lying between <br />Victory Boulevard and Beechdale Road be, and the s~ne is hereby closed <br />and vacate~ as a public street. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Vi~gi~_a, <br /> at a meeting held Febrt~ry 22, 1966.
