(g) For fire protection meter, gate arid check valves, cormection <br />with the city main and service pipe frcm the main to the meter will be <br />installed by the water department and paid for in advs~nce by the owner <br />of property to be protected. There s~hall be no charge for water used <br />through such meters to extinguish a fire. Water registered by suc~n <br />meters, not used to extinguish a fire, will be paid for at schedule rates. <br /> <br />Sec. 37A-45. Fire protection meter service charges. <br /> <br /> The fire protection me~er service char~es set out in the followirg <br />table s~ball be paid by vrater consumers for ~ne several sizes of fire <br />protection meyers for each such meter installed based on the Detector- <br />~neck valve or meter size: <br /> <br />4 inch ...................................... $12.50 per month <br />6 inch ...................................... 30.00 per month <br />8 inch ...................................... 50.00 per month <br />10 inch ...................................... 75.00 per month <br /> <br />Sec. 37A-46. Public fire hydrants. <br /> <br /> Public fire ~vdrants, shall be used f~r the extinguishment of fires <br />only. <br /> <br /> Public fire hydrants within the corpo_rate l~its of the city shall <br />be paid for at the rave of thirty dollars each per annmm. Public fi~e <br />hydrants located in a city or to~rn other than this city, or in a counvy~ <br />shall be subject ~o contract~ or if no contract is entered into for such <br />fire hydrants, they shall be paid for ay the rate of fifty dollars each <br />per armum.
