(3) Social Security option. If a member <br />retires prior to his noz~aal retirement date~ he <br />may elect to receive an increased retiremen~ <br />allowance up to his no, yowl re~ira~nent date and a <br />decreased retir~lenz altowa~ce thereafter, there- <br />by providing a more nearly level retirament al- <br />lowance when such decreased retirement allowance <br />is added to his anticipated primary benefits t~nder <br />the Federal Social Security Act. ~ne election of <br />this option shall autmr~tically revoke s~ny previous <br />election under the joint and last survivor o~- <br />tion of paragraph (2) of t.his subsection. <br /> <br /> (4) Other options.
