AN ORDINANCE TO CLOSE A PORTION OF LOUDOUN AVENUE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, 'Construction Associates, Incorporated, ~bas made <br />application to vacate, close and discontinue the hereinafter described <br />street; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, by r~solution of this Council, adopted ~y 10, <br />1966, viewers were appointed pursuant to Section 15.1-364 of the Code <br />of Virginia, 1950, as amended, to view the hereLnaf~er described <br />Street, ara to report in writing wheth.e? in their opLnion, any, and <br />if any, wha~ inconvenience would result from discontinuing the herein- <br />after described street; and <br /> <br /> %f~EREAS, the said viewers have reported in writing that in <br />their opinion no inconvenience would result fram closing and discon- <br />tinuing said street. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT OPDAINED by the Council of the City <br /> of Portamouth, Virginia, that that portion of Loudoun Avenue l~ing <br /> between tbm northern right of way line of Race Street and the south- <br /> eastern right of way 1Lne of Airline Boulevard be, and the same is <br /> hereby closed and vacated as a public street. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virgirda, <br /> at a m_e~3~ng held June 28, 1966. <br /> <br /> Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
