AN ORDINANCE TO CLOSE A <br />PORTION OF SCOTT STREgT <br /> <br /> 'FHEREAS, Chester S. Daniels and Lois S. 'Daniels, husband and <br />wife, have made application to vacate, close and discontinue the herein- <br />after described street~ and <br /> <br /> V~F~S, by resolution of this Council, adopted August 8, 1967, <br />viewers were appointed pursuant to Section 15.1~364 of the Code of Virginia, <br />1950, as amended, to view the hereinafter described street, and to report <br />in writing whether in their opinion, any, and if any, what inconvehience <br />would result from discontinuing the hereLdafter described street; and <br /> <br /> ~, the said viewers have reported in writing that in <br />their opinion no inconvenience would result from Closing and discontinuing <br />said street. <br /> <br /> 'NOW, T~2~qEFORE, BE l~± ORDAINED by the Council of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia, that that portion of Scott Street lying between the <br />eastern right of way line of ~elia Avenue anda line sixty-five feet <br />east thereof, be; and the same is hereby closed mud vacated as a public <br />street. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, <br /> <br />at a meeting held Septa~er 12, 1967. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
