~ OHDI~W.~NCE TO p~.v~X~) SECTION 25-24 OF ~ CODE OF Th~ CITY OF PORTSMOL~H, <br />VIRGINIA~ 1961, ~EI.&T-~G TO THE ISSUANCE OF PE~.~S FOR ~E 0~E OF <br />NA~ONAL GUL~D A~DRY. <br /> <br /> Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Portsmout~ ~ Virginia, <br />that Section 25-24 of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, 1961, <br />be amended and reordained to read as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 25-24 Per, nit for use. <br /> <br /> (a) The City ~nager is hereby authorized to issue a permit to <br />any person, except as here~_nafter provided, for the use of the National Gttard <br />Armory upon the payment of the fees hereinafter established and upon cmmplis_nce <br />with the other requirements hereinaz~er set forth. Rb meeting or other activity <br />shall be held at the armory other than that stated in the application. <br /> <br /> (b) No such permit shall be granted to e_ny person who, <br />for security reasons, is not approved by the Co.._.mmar~ing Officer of the <br />National Guard umit or units using the armol~y. <br /> <br /> (o) No such pezmit shall be granted to any person reported by the <br />Attorney Ger~ral of the United States as havirg si~maificance ~n cormection <br />with the.national security~ pursuant to Executive Order 10~50. <br /> <br /> (d) No such permit shall be granted to ar~ person -~nen there <br />is danger of any br~ach of the peace,ttmult, riot, resistance of 1~ or <br />danger to person or property. <br /> <br /> (e) No such permit shall be granted to any person when such <br />use of the armory would interfere in any m~er with the use thereof by <br />the National Guard or endanger the security of the equipment stored therein. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of.
