That Section 37A-20 of the Code of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virgip~a, 1961, be mmendsd and reordained <br />to read as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 37A-20. Meter ~.rates for ~er supplied. <br /> <br /> (a) For al! water w~hich passes tbrougn~ the meters, <br />the con_sum, ers within the co,orate limits of the city <br />and the City of S~fotk shall pay the follo~ng ra~es: <br /> <br /> (1] For the f~_~st fifteen thousand cubic feet <br /> ~nmrty cents per hoodooed cubic <br />used in any one month, +'' <br />feet. <br /> <br /> (2) For any next quantity between _m~teen <br />thousand cubic feet a~.d one million cubic feet used in <br />any one .month, twenty cents per hmndred cubic feet. <br /> <br /> (3) For any new quantity in excess of one <br />million cubic feet used in any one month, fifteen cents <br />per hundred cubi:feet. <br /> <br /> The ~.min~m charge for wa~er used, exclusive of <br />the ready-to-serve charge, sb~ll be One and 26/100 <br />(+_.20) Dollars per month. <br /> <br /> (b) For all rater which passes ~o~ougeh tb~ <br />~eters, the consmners outside ~ae corporate limits <br />of the city and the City of Sum~fotk shall pay the <br />follow,lng rates: <br /> <br /> <br />
