AN ORDIbLKNCE TO AM~ SECTION 107.4 OF ~ BUILDING CODE OF THE CITY OF PORTSMO iU~H, 1967] PERTAINING TO THE SCHEDULE OF PERMIT Be it ordainedby the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that Section 107. of .the BuitdingCode of the City of Portsmouth, I967~ be amended and reordained to read as follows: SS~tion 107.4. ScHedule of Perait Fee~. The fees for all permits reqtuired by this code shall be paid at the time of filing the application and in accordance with the followir~ schedule: (a) Construction - general. Residential (Al For 100 square feet up to and including t,000 square feet, the feeshall be $5.00 per hundred square feet or fraction thereof. (B) For t,000 square feet up to and including 2,000 square feet, the fee shall be $50.00 for the first t,000 square feet plus $4~..00 per ~mndred square feet or fraction thereof. (C) For 2,000 square feet up to and ~mcluding t00,000 square feet, the fee shall be $90.00 for the first 2,000 square feet plus $3.00 per hundred square feet or fraction thereof. (D) For 100,000 sqtmre feet or more, the fee shall be $3,030.00 for the first 100,000 square feet plus ~2.00 per hundred square feet or fraction thereof, without limit. (2) Business (A) For 100 square feet up to and ~ncluding 1,000 square feet, the fee shall be $5.00 per hundred square feet or fraction thereof. (B) For 1,000 square feet up to and inc!udir~ 2,000 square feet, the fee shall be $50.00 for the first 1,000 sqt~re feet plus $4.00 per hundred square_feet or fraction thereof. (c) For 2,000 sauare feet uo to and including 5,000 square feet, the f~e shall be ~90J00 for the first 2,000 square fee~, plus $3.00 per hundred square feet or fraction thereof.'
