AN ORDINANCE TO A~,~D SECTIO~ 4-3. 4-6 AND 4-7 OF ~HE ZONING ORDINANCE OF ~HE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, 1961, TO ALLgW BUS'PASSENGER STATIONS IN THE IN- DUSTRIAL M-l, C0~RCIAL C-2 and CC~ERCIAL C-3 ZONING DISTRICTS BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Vir- ginia: 1. That sections 4-3, 4-6 and 4-7 of the Zooing Ordinance of the City of Port~mouth, 1961, be amended and reordained to read as follows: Section 4-3. Industrial ~,~-1 District Uses. allowed: (a) Within the Industrial M-1 District the roll,ring uses are Accessory u~es and structures incident~i to any permitted residential use, such as servant's quarters, garages, greenhouses or workshops~ provided that none shall be rented or occupied for gain, that no ac- cessory building shall be inhabited by other than employees of the ovnner, lesseej or tenant of the premise~4; provided that no accessory building to be used for living quarters shall be constructed upon a plot until the construction of the principal building has been com- ment ed. Accessory uses clearly incidental to a permitted use and which ~rlll not create a nuisance or hazard. Amusement enterprises similar to billiards, pool, bowling, shooting gallary, roller rir2~, dance hall, but not including theater. Appliance distributors for wholesale. Assembly halls, coliseums, gymnasiums, stadiums and similar structures. Assembly of machines and appliances from previously prepared parts. Automobile (new and used) and accessory sales. Automobile cmu~ereiai park~ enterprise. Autmmobile parking operated in conjunction with pemmitted uses and in accordance with the requirements of Section 3-19. Aut~uobile repair garages. Automotive and industrial supplies - wholesale and retail.
