POLES; · <br /> <br /> Be it ~rdained by the Council of the City of Ports~outh, Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. That Section 22-5 of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, <br />1961, be amended and reordained to read as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 22-5. Main line poles on street. <br /> <br /> The pol. es of the main line on any street shall be confined to one <br />~de.of the street, unless a special permi~to the contrary be granted, and <br />~ e lowest crossarm or wires shall not be l~ss'than eighteen feet from the <br />surface of the ground.
