Gatliford has m~de application to vacate, close and discontinue the hereinafter described portions of cez~oa~n streets sho~ on the plat of S~3m_~gside Fa~; and WHEREAS~ by resolution of this Cou~ncil, adopted Januaa~, 27, 1970, ~;iewers wer~ appointed pur~ut to Section t5,t-364 of the Code of Vir- ~ginia, 1950, as ~r~nded, to view the hereinafter described portions of the said streets and to repor~ in ~%~itirg whether in their opimion, 8r4v~ and if any, what inconvenience would result from discontinuirg the below described streets; and WZ~RS, the said viewers have repoz~ted in writing that in their opinion no ~convenience would result from closirg and discont~_n~aing said streets; NOW, THEP~w~, BE IT ORDAinED by the Cour~cit of the City of Ports- m~uth, Virginia, that: Holly Avenue, which said street lies between the southern right of ~ray line of Harding Street (formerly Madison Street) gnd the southern rigqt of w~y ~ of Southern [rrive~ as said streets are show~ more particularly on the plat of So=~nyside Farms. · 2. Lonmbsr~ay Street, ]yLng between a line wT~ich is 272 feet no?th of the northern right of '~ay line of Br©adway S6~$et and the southern right of wsy line of Southe~m_ Dri%~e, as sho~n on the plat of- S~'side Su~nr4~side ~£~enue, as said street lies between a point 272 feet north of the northern ri~zb of ~,~y l~ne of Broadway Street: and the southern right of way line of ~outhern D~£ive, as sho~rn on the said plat of S~mmyside Fsa~ms; 4.
