Oliver, husbmad and ,~fe, <br />and Ad!een A Blackm~n have made application to vacate and close .that <br />'certain t~unamed seven-foot wide ls~ne lying between Wall and Noble <br />Streets, and <br /> <br /> WHEEE~, by resolution of this Council adooted ~}- 26, 1970, <br />viewers were appointed pursuan~ to Section 15.1-364 ~f the Code of Vir- <br />ginia, 1950, as amended, to view the hereinafter described portion of <br />the said street ~d to report in writing whether in their ooinion any <br />and if amy, w~hat inconvenience would result from the disco~intu~g of <br />the below described street; and <br /> <br /> h~WtF~S, the said viewers have reoorted in v~iting that <br />their opinion no inconvenience would result-from closing and discon- <br />tinuing said street; <br /> <br /> NOW, T~]2REFORE, BE IT 0RDA~ED bp the Council of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia, that the u~usP~d seven-foot wide i~ne iyL~ be- <br />tween Wall sand Noble Streets in Block I, as show~ on the plat entitled <br />'~Fairville No. t.", duly recorded in the Clerk's Office of the Circuit <br />Court of the City of~ Chesapes~e (formerly Norfolk County) in Map Book <br />6~ page 100, be and the same is hereby closed and vacated as a public <br />street. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Cotuncil of the City of Portsmouth~ Virginia, <br />at a meetLng held Jtune 23, 1970. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
