MN 0?~DINANCE TO ~2~D SECTION 2-21 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF PORTS- <br />MOUTH, VIRGINIa, 1961, PERTAINING TO THE VOTING PROCEDURES OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL. <br /> <br /> Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia: <br /> <br /> . 1. That Section 2-21 of the Code of the City of Ports- <br />mouth, Virginia, 1961, be amended and reordained to read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 2-21. Voting procedures. <br /> <br /> On all roll call votes, each member of the council s~all <br />announce his vote as his name is called in alphabetical order, ex- <br />cept that the mayor or other presiding officer s~m~ll vote last. At <br />the request of any member present the "ayes" and '~nays" on any <br />question shall be recorded. <br /> <br /> 2.
