Ali ORDILA~[CE TO VACATE A PORTION OF T~QAT PT,AT ENTITLED "SUB- <br />DIVISION OF HATTON POI~[T <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, that certain plat entitled '~Subdivision of <br />Hatton Pein% Farms ...," sheets 1 of 4 through 4 of 4 thereof <br />was approved by the ~[orfolk County Planning Commission and duly <br />recorded in Map Book 43, pages 48 through 51, located in the <br />Clerk's office of the Circuit Court of the City of Chesapeake <br />(formerly Norfolk County); and <br /> <br /> WIIL:REAS, through annexation proceedings the afore- <br />said subdivision of land became a part of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia on January t, 1968; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Churchland Land Corporation, the present <br />owners of the hereinafter described land, wish to vacate a <br />portion of such subdivision, such portion being a part of <br />that subdivided land depicted on sheet 2 of 4 of said plat; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Com~mission of the City of Ports- <br />mouth recommended approval of such vacation at a meeting held on <br />February 3, 1970; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, lots have been sold in said subdivision; <br /> <br /> i~OW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the <br />City of Portsmouth, Virginma that: <br /> <br /> 1. Except as hereinafter exempted the following land <br />shall be, and the same is, hereby vacated as a subdivision pur- <br />suant to Section 15.1-482(b) of the Code of Virginia, 1950, as <br />amended: <br /> <br />begi~nmng at the northeast intersection of <br />~iidfield Parkway and Cedar Lane; thence along <br />the eastern right of way line of Cedar Lane <br />Lorth 27~O4'45~' Last, 370 feet to a point; <br />thence along said eastern right of way line <br />along a curve to the left having a radius of <br />1467.39 feet a distance of 525.08 feet %o a <br />point on said eastern right of way line of <br />Cedar Lane at the property line of Cavalier <br />Forest, Section 2~ thence along said property <br />line of Cavalier Forest Secticn 2 South 75° <br />21' East 2010.95 feet to a point on the western <br />right of way line of Carney Street (now Cardinal <br />Lane); thence along said western right of way <br />line of Carney Street (now Cardinal Lane) <br />South 14° 39' West, 338.40 feet to a point; <br />thence along a curve to the right having a <br /> <br /> <br />
