Be-landscaped in accordance with an approved <br />landscape plan prepared by a qualified land- <br />scape architect. <br /> <br />B. .Requzre landscape t_eatment of not less than <br /> 10 per cent of the parking lot or parcel area. <br /> <br />Be landscaped with plant material that will <br />provide at full growth, reasonably distributed <br />'sh~.~d~ over not less ~han 25 per Gent of the <br />Parking area. <br /> <br />Be required to have a planting strip not less <br />than 5 feet in depth adjacent to any wal~ay <br />and pa~king area property line. <br /> <br />Be paved witk a brick cobblestone or other <br />aPProved s~rface material which shall eP~ance <br />and preserve the aesthetic aualities of the <br />area. Asphalt surface treatment is prohibited. <br /> <br />F. Be lighted as provided ~or in the landscape <br /> plan. ' Lighting standaras shall not exceed a <br /> height of-9 '~eet. <br /> <br />Contain signs as provided for in the landscape <br />plan and as regulated by item (4) below. <br /> <br />(4) The following regulations shall apply to signs <br />within the Historic District. <br /> <br />ae <br /> <br />Any new sign within the historic area requires <br />prior approval by the Commission of Architectural <br />Review. Changes to existing signs, ordered_ by <br />the Commission and based on these regulations <br />shall be carried out within six months of re- <br />ceipt of proper written notice. Such changes <br />shall be at the expense~ risk and responsibi- <br />lity of the owner. Should the owner fail to <br />comply with such notice, the Commission may <br />order this work done at the expense, risk and <br />responsibility of the owner without prejudice. <br /> <br />Signs must be kept in good condition or they <br />may be removed at the risk, expense and res- <br />ponsibility of the o~er, if after receipt of <br />written notice from the building inspector the <br />owner has not initiated the requested work with- <br />in six months. <br /> <br /> <br />
