Section 32-12. Final subdivision plat. <br /> <br /> (a) The final subdivision ~lat shall be prepared by <br />a land surveyor licensed by the Com~onwealth of Virginia. It <br />shall be a clearly and legibly dra~ reproducible tracing in <br />black India ink at a scale of one hundred feet to the inch. <br />For subdivisions within the city, the size of the sheet shall <br />be 8 1/2 by 13 inches, or any multiple thereof not larger <br />than 34 inches by 26 inches. If several sheets.are necessary, <br />they sha~i all be of the same size, and match point~ shall <br />be Clearly indicated. <br /> <br /> (b) The final plat sha!l contain the certificates <br />and statements required by Section 32-3 of this chapter. <br />On %he face of the plat, a place shall be provided to re- <br />ceive the signatures, with dates of approval of: (1) The <br />PlaD~ing ~irector (or.the Deputy Planning Director) and <br />(2) The City Engineer (or the Assistant City Engineer). <br /> <br /> The final plat shall conform to the preliminary layout <br />as approved and shall show the following: <br /> <br /> (1) Name and location of subdivision, name and <br />~ddres~ o-f record owner ~d subdivider, ~ate of drawing, t~e <br />north point, scale and a location map with a minimum scale of <br />one thousand fe~t {o the inch. <br /> <br /> (2) Tract boundary lines, right-of-way lines of <br />streets, easements and other rights-of-way, and property lines <br />of lots; with accurate dimensions and bearings. The data for <br />all curves shall be shown in detail at the ~curve, or in a <br />cur~e data table containing the ~ollowing: delta, radius, arc, <br />tangent. <br /> <br /> (3) Reference must be made to known permanent <br />monuments, and, where practicable, to the state system of <br />plane coordinates. Linear distances shall be in feet and <br />decimals correct to the nearest one hundredth of a foot. All <br />dimensions, both linear and angular, shall be determined by <br />an accurate control survey which must close and balance with <br />angular measure~.ents correct to the nearest second. <br /> <br /> (4) Na~r~e and right-of-way width and length of <br />each street or other rights-of-way. <br /> <br />merits. <br /> <br />(5) Location.. dimensions, and purpose of any ease- <br /> <br />and blocks. <br /> <br />(6) <br /> <br />Designating numbers or symbols for ail lots <br /> <br />-9- <br /> <br /> <br />
