AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CODE OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA, <br />1973, BY AMENDING SECTION 40-71 OF SAID CODE PERTAINING TO USES <br />PERMITTED-WITHIN COPE4ERCIAL C-2 DISTRICTS. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. That Section 40-7t of the Code of the City of Ports- <br />mouth, Virginia, 1973 be amended and reordained to read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 40-71. Commercial C-2 District Uses. <br /> <br /> (a) Within the Commercial C-2 District the following <br />uses are allowed: <br /> <br /> Accessory uses and s~uct~res clearly incidental to a <br /> permittea use and whi%h wllI not create a nuisance or <br /> hazard. <br /> <br /> Agencies and offices rendering specialized services in <br /> the professions, finance, real estate and brokerage. <br /> <br /> Alcohol beverage packaged retail sales. <br /> <br /> Amusement enterprises similar to billiards, pool, bowl- <br /> ing, skating rink, dance hall. <br /> <br /> Antiques and gift sales. <br /> Appliance distributors~ <br /> Art supply sales. <br /> <br /> Assembly halls, coliseums, gymnasiums, stadiums and <br /> similar structures. <br /> <br /> Assembly of machines and appliances frompreviously <br /> prepared parts. <br /> <br /> Automobile and accessory sales. <br /> <br /> Automobile commercial parking enterprise. <br /> <br /> Automobile parking operated in conjunction with permit- <br /> ted uses and in accordance with the requirements of <br /> Section 40-48. <br /> <br /> <br />
