AN ORDiNANCB TO ~IEND THE CODE OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, VIR- <br />GINIA, 1973, BY AMENDING SECTION 23-!3 THEREOF PERTAINING TO <br />THE PROHIBITION OF MOTOR TRUCKS FROM USING CERTAIN CITY STREETS. <br /> <br /> Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Ports- <br />mouth, Virginia: <br /> <br /> {t) That the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Vir- <br />ginia, 1973, be amended by amending Section 23-13, such amend- <br />ed section to read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 23-13. Use of certain streets by motor trucks. <br /> <br /> It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corpo- <br />ration to drive or operate a motor truck of a gross weight of <br />thirty-si~ thousand (36,000) pounds or over (empty or loaded) <br />upon any of the following named streets in the city, except for <br />the purpose of receiving loads or making deliveries: <br /> <br /> Booker Street, between Constitution Avenue and Indus- <br />trial Avenue. <br /> <br /> Cavalier Boulevard, between the Chesapeake City limits <br />and Victory Boulevard. <br /> <br />Street. <br /> <br />Street. <br /> <br /> Douglas Avenue, between Hartford Street and Commerce <br /> <br /> Douglas Avenue, between Portland Street and North Street. <br /> Florida Avenue, between Bayview Boulevard and Commerce <br /> <br /> between Portland Street and London <br /> <br /> Rapidan Street and Victory <br /> Hamilton Avenue, between Portland Street and North <br /> Hartford Street, between High Street and Mt.
